How can we help?

Events

Creating an EventLearn how to create and set up your first event on Sceene.

Click “Create Event” in the top bar. Give your event a name, pick the start and end date and time, and set a location and description.

Set your ticket price (leave it as Free for free events), toggle Require Approval if you want to vet registrations, and set a capacity or leave it Unlimited.

Hit Create Event and your page is live instantly — you'll land on the event dashboard where you can share the link right away.

Photos & Cover ImageAdd up to 8 photos — the first one is your cover.

On the create or edit page, tap the image button on the artwork to upload photos. You can add up to 8.

The first photo is the cover — it's what people see on your event page, on event lists, and in link previews. Hover any other photo and tap the star to make it the cover, or × to remove it.

Guests can swipe through all photos on your public event page.

Customising Your Event PageThemes, colours, gradient or solid backgrounds, and fonts.

Tap “Customise” under the artwork on the create/edit page.

Pick a theme from the rail, choose a colour from the palette — your page background updates instantly. The Style control switches between a Gradient fade and a Solid fill.

The Font control changes the display font used for your event name — buyers see the same font on your public page.

If you don't pick a colour, Sceene automatically tints the page to match your cover photo.

Locations & MapsSearch real venues and show guests a map.

Start typing in the location field and pick a venue from the suggestions — hotels, parks, studios and more.

Picking a suggestion pins the venue on a map, shown on your event page so guests know exactly where to go. You can also add Further Instructions like a gate code or meeting point.

Prefer to keep it simple? Use the “Use …” option to save the raw text, or pick a virtual option for online events.

Rich Event DescriptionsHeadings, lists, images and more with the block editor.

In the description editor, press the + button on any line to insert blocks: headings, subheadings, lists, numbered lists, quotes, dividers, and images.

Press Enter to add a new paragraph and Backspace on an empty block to remove it.

Everything renders beautifully on your public event page.

Editing an EventChange anything after publishing.

Open your event's Overview tab and tap the pencil on the recap card. The create page opens with everything pre-filled.

Make your changes and hit Update Event — the public page updates immediately.

Registration & Tickets

How Registration WorksWhat happens when a guest registers for your event.

Guests open your link, enter their name and phone number, and pay if the event is paid.

They instantly get a ticket page with a QR code, and the ticket link is delivered to their phone. No app download needed.

You see every registration live on your dashboard — the guest list, notifications, and insights all update in real time.

Ticket TypesMultiple tickets with their own price and rules.

In your event's Registration tab, tap “New Ticket Type”. Give it a name, description, and price.

Open Limits & Restrictions to cap how many can be sold, set a sales window (start and end), or hide the ticket from the public page.

Hidden tickets can only be unlocked with an access code — great for VIP or early-bird lists.

Vouchers & Access CodesUnlock hidden tickets with codes.

In the Registration tab, create a voucher under Vouchers & Access Codes. Codes can be limited to a number of uses and restricted to a validity window.

Share the code or the direct voucher link. You can invalidate a code at any time, and track redemptions per voucher.

Custom Registration QuestionsCollect exactly the info you need.

Add questions in the Registration tab: text answers, multiple-choice options, social profiles, company and job title, checkboxes, terms acceptance, mobile numbers, or websites. Answers show on each guest's card in the Guests tab.

Mark questions as required, and edit or remove them at any time.

Approval-Based EventsVet every registration before confirming.

Toggle Require Approval when creating your event. Registrations arrive as Pending, and you approve or decline each one from the Guests tab.

Guests only get their ticket once you approve them.

Payments & Payouts

How Payments WorkUPI, cards, netbanking — powered by Razorpay.

Guests pay through Razorpay checkout with UPI, cards, or netbanking. Payment is confirmed instantly and the ticket is issued automatically.

A 5% platform fee (rounded to the nearest rupee), capped at ₹50 per ticket, is added to each paid ticket and shown transparently to the buyer before they pay. Free events have no fees at all.

Adding Your Bank DetailsHow you get paid for your events.

You can create events and start selling immediately — add your bank details whenever you're ready to get paid.

Open Settings → Payouts (or the Ticket Sales card in any event's Registration tab) and tap Add Bank Details. Enter your account number, IFSC and PAN — they're stored securely with Sceene and used only to send your payouts.

Once your event ends, we transfer your earnings directly to your bank account in T+2 working days (weekends and bank holidays don't count).

RefundsRefund a paid guest in two taps.

Open the guest from your Guests tab and tap Refund. Confirm, and the money returns to the buyer's original payment method via Razorpay.

Only paid, not-yet-checked-in registrations can be refunded.

Sharing & Invites

Your Event Link & QR CodeOne link and one QR for everything.

Every event gets a clean shareable link, shown on your Overview tab. Tap it to open the Share panel: copy the link, or download the QR code as an image for posters and stories.

Anyone who opens the link or scans the QR lands on your event page and can register immediately.

Inviting GuestsInvite by link or email.

On the Overview tab, tap Invite Guests. Copy the share link, or add email addresses to build an invite list.

Invited guests appear with an “invited” marker on your guest list when they register.

Check-In at the Door

Scanning Guests InVerify tickets and track attendance live.

Open the check-in tool from your event's Overview tab. Point the camera at a guest's QR ticket — valid tickets get a green confirmation, already-scanned tickets show orange, and unknown codes show red.

Standard mode shows guest details before you approve; Express mode checks people in the moment the code is scanned.

Attendance updates on your dashboard in real time.

Door Staff AccessGive helpers a one-tap scanner — no account needed.

In Check-In Options, enter your staff member's phone number and tap Grant. They receive a link that opens the scanner directly — no sign-in, no OTP at the door.

Access expires automatically 24 hours after your event ends.

Offline ModeCheck in guests even without internet.

The scanner keeps your attendee list on the device, so patchy venue internet won't stop the line. Check-ins sync back when the connection returns.

Guests, Data & Insights

Managing Your Guest ListSearch, filter, approve, and check in.

The Guests tab shows everyone with live status: going, pending, attended. Search by name, filter by status, and open any guest to check them in or undo.

You can also add guests manually — name, email, phone — for walk-ins or offline sales.

Exporting to ExcelTake your attendee list anywhere.

Tap the download icon on the Guests tab to export a CSV of your full guest list, including statuses and check-in times. Opens straight into Excel or Google Sheets.

InsightsEvent-level and overall analytics.

Each event's Insights tab shows page views, traffic sources and cities.

Your Profile page has an overall Insights section: total events, tickets, attendance, sales, and a day-by-day registrations chart across everything you've hosted.

Updates & FeedbackMessage your guests before and after.

Use the Updates tab to send email updates to your registered guests, fire event reminders, and thank everyone after the event wraps.

Account & Club Page

Signing InPhone number + one-time code.

Sceene uses your phone number to sign in — enter it, receive a one-time code, and you're in. No passwords to remember.

Your Club PageOne public page listing all your events.

During onboarding you pick a club name and a link — that page lists every upcoming public event you host, with your logo and Instagram.

Share your club link in your bio so members always find your latest events.

Profile & SettingsUpdate your details anytime.

Settings → Account lets you update your name, username, bio, profile picture and social links. The Payouts section manages your bank connection, and Preferences controls notifications and devices.
