Sceene is free for unlimited events and unlimited guests. We take 5% per paid ticket, capped at ₹50 — paid by the guest, only when you get paid. Free events are free forever.
The 5% cut (capped at ₹50 per ticket)
The fee sits on top of your ticket price, so you keep 100% of every ticket you sell. It's 5% capped at ₹50 per ticket — a pricey ticket never carries a steep fee. Your guest sees the full amount before paying — no surprises for either of you.

When your money arrives
Payouts follow Razorpay's T+2 working-days settlement: your money lands on the second working day after a payment, deposited by ~1 PM. It isn't a flat 48 hours — weekends and bank holidays don't count, so the calendar wait stretches a little around them.
Because weekends and holidays pause the count, we show the exact deposit date for every event in your dashboard — no guessing.

Event updates
2 free updates per event
An update is one message to every guest of an event, delivered by email. Need more than 2? Credit packs top you up — one credit is one extra update, they never expire, and they work across all your events.
System messages — tickets, refund updates, location announcements — are always free and never use your updates or credits.

Questions, answered
What exactly does the 5% cover?
Payment processing, ticket delivery, the door scanner, refunds, and everything else on this page. There are no other charges — no setup fee, no monthly subscription, no per-guest cost. The fee is capped at ₹50 per ticket, so it never gets steep on higher-priced tickets.
Who pays the platform fee?
Your guests do, on top of your ticket price. If you price a ticket at ₹250, you receive the full ₹250 — the guest pays ₹263 at checkout. The fee is 5% capped at ₹50 per ticket, so a ₹1,500 ticket still only adds ₹50.
What do free events cost?
Nothing, ever. If your ticket is free, there's no fee — unlimited free events, unlimited guests.
When do I get my money?
Payouts settle to your bank on a T+2 working-days cycle — roughly two business days after each payment (weekends and bank holidays don't count, so a payment over the weekend lands a little later). You'll always see the exact deposit date for every event in your dashboard.
What counts as an update?
One update = one message sent to every guest of one event, by email. Every event includes 2 free updates. System messages — tickets, refund updates, location announcements — are always free and never use your updates or credits.
